  The Potato Factory was my first listen of Bryce Courtenay works .... I fell in Love with Mary and the characters in this book, I am working my way through all of Bryces's books that are on audio ... then I will read the others. What a talent this man has for telling a great story, with great characters.. those you love and those you hate ... my life is 'richer' for having read/listened to the works of Bryce. Thank you.   I loved this book. I couldn't put it down right from the first page. The characters came alive and the setting in the putrid London alleys was vivid and believable.
