I bought the book for our bookclub in Pretoria, South Africa - so far I am the only one who has read it but my I was so possitive about the book that everyone dived for it when it was tine for choosing books. Lovely lovely reading, absorbing.

Dear Bryce,
Countless times over the last 15 years I have quoted you and your brilliant writing to help motivate Ironman athletes worldwide. With every one of your books read it fills my cofer to push forward to the athletes your inspiring words and messages. When we met at Ironman Australia years ago it was one of the best moments in my life.

Bryce,
My son Daniel bought me 'The Story of Danny Dunn' for Xmas. I liked it, as I once came from Sydney and bought back a few memories for me. The ending particularly got me. I have not read a book other then John Stienbeck's' Grapes of Wrath', with such an emotional and unexpected ending.
Perhaps the book more then anything else points out that our demons never truly leave us.

Bryce..Just before we travelled to Australia in 2004 I read Four Fires and have been reading your books ever since...can't wait to get my hands on Danny Dunn and have just passed Jessica off to our daughter - I'm sure she'll be hooked in no time. Jerry Lake

Dear Bryce, I've read quite a few of your books - my mother-in-law got me into them - and I love heaps of them, including the Solomon family trilogy, Jessica and Matthew Flinders' Cat, but Danny Dunn is your best yet. I loved it from start to finish and couldn't put it down. I really thought your next book would be about the twins until the ending. Can your next book be written from Gabby's point of view, please? I would love to keep reading about the Dunn family. The reailism you injected into The Story of Danny Dunn was awesome. Keep up the fantastic work!

I just finished Danny Dunn, and I'm in tears. It was incredible. The only thing better I've ever read was April Fools Day.

There was only one problem with 'The Story of Danny Dunn', I was neglecting my children because I just couldn't put it down.
Thanks Bryce, I love your books.
